For the research, the experiment was conducted on the Glare Tester with twenty two subjects age from twenty to twenty seven years old. Total of thirty two conditions were tested for each person. The estimated values of discomfort glare were compared with the results in the conditions that glare source was on the line of sight and predicted values. The results are as follows. Firstly, the level of discomfort glare decreased approximately 0.5 level while background luminance increased 0.4 point in logarithm. Secondly, with the glare sources over 0.1sr, higher discomfort glare were shown at the position deviated 30° from the line of sight compare to the position at the line of sight.
