요약2 Infants and little children are the basic national competitiveness and future resources. Korea has come into request the high quality of child care for them. Therefore, we must make desperate efforts to keep safe and healthy living in child care with interests and exciting things. Futhermore, now is the time to elevate one level of the quality step for the child care center in order to make the better personal human life. The architectural planning of a child care center must be decided the level of child care service firstly. And next phase, the size of the child care center, operation of staffs characterized activities on the free playing time outdoor playground for children activities and spatial organization of child care rooms, facility equipments must be decided, too. Lastly they need to be balanced with one another. Facility environment with child care activity could be said as a index of child care service appeared in the sight. The minimum line of the facility equipments in The Act of Infant and Little Child Care was made for the enactment in 1991. In 2005, The Korea Child Care Promotion Institute raised one step in The Korea Childcare Accreditation. A child care room, the activity treatment, an outdoor play ground, a kitchen, a toilet, a washroom, a teacher's room, a dining room, a nap room, etc. were made in the sets of 6 territories. In 2009, The Korea Institute of Childcare and Education suggested minimum line and optimum criteria in consideration of our nation's GNP and the increasing of dwelling area. Among these three standards, the minimum line of The Act of Infant and Little Child is basic and The Korea Childcare Accreditation, The Korea Institute of Childcare and Education Center made higher standard. In this country, the standards to be needed in the planning and designing for the child care center are as follows. The age and child number of child care facilities is decided in consideration of the operation of the facilities and economic feasibility as well as the corresponding area's child care demands. The placement of the classes is operated with infant classes and little children classes coincidently. The age structure is composed of four or five-six age groups. The requirement space of child care facilities is divided with entry, child caring, management and supporting, public space. The space of entry is the space of go in and out with the installation of fences, securing of school zone way, entrance, etc. This space is classified as the territories in order to find the surrounding facilities and is placed nearly to the office to check go in and out at the zone of the entrance. Child care space is the space of child care activities as a child care room, a toilet for infants and little children, a nap room, a recreation room, an outdoor play ground. In the rooms of infants and little children, milk making, breast-feeding, changing diapers should be provided. In case of napping in child care rooms, the bedding closet space should be provided, division of dining and sleeping could be made possibly and it must be kept in sanitation. The rides and storage room should be provided in the outdoor play ground. Director room, office, teaching material room, adult toilet, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, storage should be provided in the management and supporting space. Works of practitioners and child care activities could be supported. In public space, space of passage like as corridor, stair hall and machine room, as the equipment space should be provided. Spatial organization must be designed for the child care activity possibly, there must be understanding about the program for the daily life of infants and little children or weekly child care activities.
