For apartment houses, after 15 years from the permission of using, remodeling with extension is possible. Design method could be classified for design of remodeling with extension as follows. Those include complex design method, residential unit design method, parking lot design method and resident welfare facility design method. 1) Complex Design Method. In an avoidable case, green space must be secured with setting of the decks. Parking lots must be planned for the construction of residential building in case of new underground parking. Skylight and sunken space should be planned with the consideration of natural lights and ventilation of underground parking.
