본 연구는 미디어파사드의 디자인과 연관된 다양한 분야(도시, 경관, 건축, 조명, 영상 등)을종합적으로 고려한 디자인 항목들을 도출하고, 이용자(시민)의 의견수렴을 통하여 도시경관 측면에서 공공성에 영향을 미치는 주요 요소들과 그 중요도를 판별함으로써, 미디어파사드의 공공성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 만족도 조사 및 통계분석 결과, 미디어파사드의 공공성에 영향을 미치는 4개 인자 및 그 중요도는, 하드웨어, 콘텐츠, 조망, 기술 순으로 분석되었다.이는 미디어파사드의 공공성의 증진을 위해서는 중요도가 높은 인자와 각 인자의 세부 변인들의향상을 우선적으로 고려하여야 함을 의미한다. 최근 미디어파사드에 있어 콘텐츠가 핵심적 요소로서 강조되고 있으나, 건축물과의 통합성, 크기, 설치유형 등 하드웨어 요소가 도시경관의 공공성에 기여한다는 전제가 우선적으로 충족되어야 함을 알 수 있다. 또한, 중요도가 높게 분석되었던 콘텐츠에 대한 조사 대상지의 만족수준은 가장 낮은 것으로 조사됨으로써, 미디어파사드의 공공성 향상을 위해서는 콘텐츠 수준 향상 역시 시급한 것으로 판단되었다. |

This paper aims to analyze the publicness of media facades in terms of urban landscape through a user(citizen) satisfaction survey, with the goal of identifying improvement measures of the publicness. To this end, this study derived design elements of media facades from various fields (urban, architecture, light, media, etc.) and determined the major elements that affect publicness and their importance through the user satisfaction survey. The results were as follows.: The four factors that affect the publicness of media facades - hardware, contents, view, and display - were rated based on their importance. The factors and their associated variables for which the importance rating was high should be given preferential consideration in order to improve the publicness of media facades. Although the contents factor is generally highlighted as a key element for media facades, hardware factor and variables such as architectural integration, size, and installation type should be given preference for improvements. According to the comparative analysis between the importance rating and the satisfaction level of the researched sites, the contents factor, which presented a high importance rating, appeared to have the lowest satisfaction level. Therefore, in order to improve the publicness of media facades, there is also an urgent need to improve the contents. |
