The purpose of this study is to suggest implications of citizen participatory education programs(CPEP). We set criteria which are goals, subjects, programs, places, main operators and support systems of CPEP for analysing current state of them. Main contents of this study set up 3 goals of CPEP, and then carry out case study and expert survey, based on them. The results of this study are as follows. 1) There are three goals of CPEP. First is to raise citizens' understanding and interest, second is citizen participation in regeneration planning. Third is to make citizen an influential subject in regeneration projects and local activities. 2) It is necessary to attract various participants, such as residents, NGOs, administrations and local development companies. 3) Education programs for citizens need to be continued regularly including life long education programs etc. 4) Spaces and facilities of universities should be used smoothly through cooperation between the university and the local government. 5) Local governments should lead the CPEP building collaborative system with expert groups. 6) Trainees support system requires more sophisticated qualifications and operational standards after CPEP. Finally, we suggest the operation plan for CPEP based on the results of this study. |
