This sediment called "efflorescence" causes damage to the external appearance of the building. Therefore the efflorescence would be one of the most troublesome problems in finishing the exterior wall. This phenomenon has been commonly observed on the exterior of the brick building since long ago, but in these day appears on the surface of every kind of structrue with wide-use of portland cement.The efflorescence is caused by the use of portland cement for building material.
