In the paper, the definition of telecommuting and the conceptof housing for telecommuting were discussed. Accordingly, the basic direction for the development ofhousing for telecommuting was set forth. Three alternatives for this were derived from the casestudies in the other countries; and were subjected to the evaluation of the actual and Potentialtelecommuters by the means of internet questionnaire. The result suggested that building a teleworkcenter was the best solution for the Korean apartment houses.
