본 연구는 현재 가족의 생활이 이루어지는 충청지역의 문화재지정 한옥을 대상으로 전통주거공간이 현대주거생활에 대응하기 위해 지난 20년간 변화된 현상들을 분석하고 변화의 의미를 해석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 전통주택의 공간에서 나타나는 변화를 객관적으로 분석하고 공간들의 상대적 관계를 파악하기 위해, 연구자는 공간구문론의 가능성과 한계를 검토한 후 일정한 전제를 가지고 그것을 분석 방법으로 사용하였다. 분석의 범위는 주로 생활이 이루어지는 안채와 그 주변의 외부공간으로 한정하였다. 연구를 통하여, 지난 20년 동안 대체적으로 사례가옥의 생활공간을 이루는 각 실들의 RRA가 증가하였음을 밝혔다. 특히 생활이 일어나는 공간들 중에서 안방의 RRA값이 가장 크게 나타났으며, 대청과 마루공간의 RRA 증가율이 가장 크게 나타났다. 이에 비해 부엌의 RRA 증가율은 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. |

The objective of this study is to analyze spatial changes of traditional Korean houses in Chungcheong province that are designated as National Cultural Properties. This study is based on the premise that the residents of these houses were forced to modify their dwelling spaces in order to bridge the gap between the traditional spaces and the current living pattern, though change was constrained by relevant regulations.
In this study, it was found that Space Syntax effectively reveals the relative spatial depth of the spatial elements composing hanok. Thus, Space Syntax was adopted as an analytic method of the study to objectively measure the spatial changes of the seven case houses. In this study, the present spatial organization of each case is compared with that of 20 years ago to find out how the organization and use of space has changed over the past two decades. The results are summarized as follows:
The mean RRA of all spatial elements has increased in all cases over the 20 year period. Especially, the increase ratio of the mean RRA is exceeded by that of the RRA of both anbang and maru / daecheong, in most cases. On the other hand, the increase ratio of the RRA of kitchen is exceeded by that of the mean RRA in most cases. The RRA of kitchen was bigger than that of anbang in the past, which is reversed at the present.
The above findings suggest that the anbang has come to be a more private space, whereas the maru / daecheong have come to be more closed. On the other hand, the kitchen has become more accessible to/from the interior spaces. |
