However, current safety organizations for construction projects in the Republic of Korea have some crucial limitations in respects of safety responsibilities among project stakeholders and roles and positions of safety professionals etc. To suggest effective model of safety organization for construction projects, this study conducted a comparative study on the safety organizations in major countries of which revealed much lower injury indices than those of our country.
