This study aims at examining and analyzing the physical characteristics of spatial structure of residential area such as block, lots and housing type on Taepyeoung 2, which is urban renewal planned district and thus describe the quality of specific territory. Now, Seongnam city established and modified urban renewal plan on The Old section, Seongnam City in 2001 and 2005. The urban renewal plan solves the residential environmental gap and procure the rapidly decreased developmental site for apartment after the latter half of the 1990's. Moreover, the urban renewal plan expects that it brings out a rapid change of spatial structure of residential area in the old section. The spatial structure of residential area is not showing the physical status, but deciding upon typical quality of urban housing and the residential life quality. The quality of residential structure causes the various acts according to the physical characteristics such as block, lots and housing type and it has the quality which is high latent practical value for the gradual development. |
