The human has been used a various resources for the convenient and affluent life. But, they produce following results; an exhaustion of natural resources, an energy scarcity, environmental pollution, and so on. In the architecture field, the building is also became air-sealing. It is one of the most significant energy efficiency improvements. But, it is raised a new problem by injurious gas to health from architectural materials. Thus, recently it is concerned about the application possibility of photocatalyst. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the photocatalysts's applicability as the environment-friendly building materials according to the intensity of ultraviolet ray and the fixing method of photocatalysts. As the results of this study, a double coating type, one of the fixing method of photocatalysts, is definitely superior to the other from the self-cleaning by ultraviolet ray point of view. |
