As one of these, there is the passive control to decrease the vibration by damper in the inside of buildings when an earthquake occurs. In particular, Elasto-Plastic steel damper absorbing energy by deforming steel in plastic state is effective in respect to the maintenance and cost of the material. But, it is yet our reality that the quantitative analysis ability of structural control owing to the hysteretic damper is sufficient. Also, it is difficult to perform the complicated nonlinear structure analysis again from the first stage of structural plan.
