In this study intend to present basic material for the prevention of chloride damage from exterior salinity, one of crucial factors of chloride water, to reinforced concrete buildings through measuring the permeant depth and absorption of chloride water, based on the types of surface finishing. The study results are as flow.(1) The permeant depth of chloride water according to exposure method, such as lower in the dry and wet cycled method than continuous exposure method. (2) The mixed type and water paint type was proven to be most effective at salt prevention after measuring the permeant depth and absorption according to surface finishing. (3) Also, the absorption of the mixed type and water paint type was shown to be the lowest. (4) Synthetically, in the case of the permeant depth and absorption of mortar, it's estimated that damage likely to be the most serious due to high absorption at absolute dry condition.In conclusion, in case that surface finishing such as the mixed type and water paint type, it can be more effective method for chloride damage and salt attack. |
