최근 들어 환경문제의 해결방안으로 전통재료에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 가운데 친환경 재료로 구성된 흙건축은 환경과 생명을 조화롭게 공존시킬 수 있는 대표적인 친환경 건축물로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 현재까지의 흙건축은 효능 및 기능적 측면에서만 지나치게 부각되어, 디자인 측면에서의 실용연구는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 실제 흙건축 현장에서 적용되는 있는 주요 구축방식인 흙벽돌 흙자루 알매 흙다짐 흙콘크리트 심벽 볏단짚 등의 구성재에 대한 이미지 평가구조를??밝혀, 앞으로의 흙건축 디자인 활동에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 연구내용으로는 실제 흙건축 현장에서 촬영된 대표적인 흙건축 구성재 7가지에 대한 디지털 사진자료를 실험자극으로 사용하여 설문조사를 통한 SD평가 실험을 한 후, 획득된 설문자료를 전산처리하여 통계적 분석을 통해 흙건축 전반에 대한 이미지 평가의 구조와 개별 구축방식별 이미지 평가의 구조(frequency analysis)와 조사대상자의 건축교육정도별 이미지 평가의 집단간 차이(f-test), 흙건축 경험 여부별 이미지 평가의 집단간 차이(t-test) 그리고 흙건축 이미지 평가의 요인(factor analysis)을 도출하였는데, 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 흙건축 구성재 전반에 대한 조사대상의 이미지 평가도는 매우 긍정적이지만, 개별 구축방식에 따라 각기 독특한 이미지 평가구조를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 조사대상자 속성별 집단간 차이는 모두 유의미한 것으로 나타났는데, 구체적으로는 건축교육정도에 따라서는 건축실무종사자, 건축학과 대학생, 일반인 순으로 더욱 긍정적인 평가 성향을 갖고 있으며, 흙건축 유경험자가 무경험자에 비해 더욱 긍정적인 평가성향을 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 흙건축 구성재에 대한 이미지 평가요인으로는 심미성, 다양성, 전통성 등 3가지 평가요인을 얻을 수 있었다. 그러나 본 연구는 흙건축 구성재를 현대건축에 접목시켜 활성화 시킬 수 있는 건축계획.설계적 대안을 제시하지 못하고, 흙건축 구성재에 대한 이미지 성향과 평가요인 만을 규명하는데 그치고 있다는 점에서 한계를 가지고 있으므로, 앞으로 이와 관련된 지속적 연구가 필요하다고 여겨진다. |

As concerns on traditional materials as a solution of environmental problems have been enhanced, earth building made of pro-environment materials has received attention as a typical pro-environment building that environment and life can coexist with harmony. But, existing earth buildings have emphasized efficiency and functions extremely and practical researches from the side of their designs are poor. Therefore, this study examines Visual image evaluation structures of earth building components which are applied to actual earth building site and aims to provide basic materials available in future earth building design. This study uses digital photo data of 7 earth building components photographed at actual earth building sites as experimental stimulation, conducts experiment for SD evaluation through questionnaire and statistical analysis. Results of this study can be summarized as follows.Visual Image evaluation of the whole earth building components by subjects was very affirmative, but it is found that there is a unique image evaluation structure depending on individual building methods. Difference in groups by attributes of subjects was significant and those in building practice showed the most affirmative evaluation, followed by architectural students and general public and those who have experience in earth building have more affirmative evaluation than those who have no experience of earth building. Image evaluation factors of earth building components are three including aesthetics, variety and traditionality. But, since this study has limitations in that it is confined to research on image trend and evaluation factors of earth building components not to present building plan and design alternatives which can activate earth building components in modern building, it is considered that further researches related to these should be conducted. |
