Four indexes(Laspeyres, Paasche, Fisher, and Chained) being constructed by time-varying parameter method are compared with the conventional hedonic price index with time dummy variables and appreciated value index by the ministry of construction and transportation. The parameters of hedonic price models are estimated and subsequently price indexes are constructed. The average annual growth rates and variances for transaction-based price indexes are more higher than the appreciated value index. The reliability of indexes is examined by the signal-to-noise ratio and chained index turned out to be the most precious index.
