Recently, the social discussion is getting lively about the Livable City-Making Movement which aims at reconsidering the life quality of residents. It is necessary to review the compact city concept and new urbanism city project movement in America which is the city theory, to realize the constant city, the unique organism and residential concept of the traditional community space lost in our country to get the effective promotion and implication of this policy. Specifically, by penetrating the social causes such as the original formation of the traditional village of our country, the time of the original formation, the relation of the land owning and so on, by understanding and researching the reality of the traditional village in our country and by comparing them with the space pattern the community spatial pattern of America, we can obtain the politic lesson of the city planning centered on the citizens. For that reason, in this research, I want to study comparatively the thought of the traditional residential places, paying attention to the pattern of the traditional village and the space pattern of New Urbanism Movement, on the center of the natural and physical causes of the traditional villages in our country about the current of the changing city planning through the logics of the residential places Korean, I have taken examples such as Oeam village located in Asan, Chungnam, and Jangsan-ri village located in Jangseong, which show the traditional community spatial pattern of our country well. and Seaside and South Brand of Village which are representative examples of New Urbanism in America, and I am going to analyze the community Spatial Structure and suggest the progress direction of the community Spatial Planning of our country. |
