요약1	본 연구에서는 풍수해 보험이 활성화되어 있는 미국사례를 중심으로 비구조적 측면에서의 건축물 관련기준(International Building Codes)을 유형화시키고 풍수해 보험제도와의 연계성 분석을 통해서 국내 적용가능한 시사점을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다.
요약2	The purpose of this study is to consider the advanced Disaster Management Policy through connecting between Building Codes(I-Codes) and Flood Insurance System for the Urban Flood Damage Reduction. For the shake of this goal, Building codes which is focused on the non-structural methods in the field of disaster management were categorized and analyzed about the connection with Flood Insurance System. As a result, in the case of America, a variety of Building Codes(I-Codes) were established, applied as a design guidelines for the flood damage reduction and used for the baseline data in the case of evaluation flood damage risk through the Community Rating System(CRS) utilized in the National Flood Insurance Program. Since it was so, Building codes and Flood Insurance System were linked together.
