As the modern building is an environmentally-friendly structure together with its aesthetic effect of the external appearance, it continues the effort to maximize energy saving, and under such circumstance, a concern with reference to the efficient use of solar energy is on escalating. Especially, the incoming of a desirable direct solar light into indoor space by each seasons is not only influencing to it’s illumination circumstance, but also obtainable an energy economizing effect by curtailment of the burden for air conditioning·heating at each seasons. Therefore, despite the direction of building and an appropriate protrusion rate of the awning look important from the construction planning stage, owing to the result of consideration on the aesthetic effect only and an excessive awning design, the case that most of building causes a bad influence to the comfortable sunshine environment is on increasing. On such viewpoint, centering around the awning design example of Y-Middle School located in Gwangju, this Study has attempted to compare·analyze using a simulation about the change of indoor sunshine condition at both "before improvement &after improvement". It is considered that such result could be utilized as the useful material in presentation of the right direction at the time of awning design on the construction planning stage in the future. |
