The main contents of this study are as follows. 1) Analysis of internal and external laws, regulations and standards relating to sound reduction performance 2) Survey of recognized sound reduction wall structures and analysis of structural features 3) Analysis of design factors relating to sound reduction performance. Sixteen objective and recognized walls are selected by analyzing wall performances and structure factors, and are analyzed by Anova, Box plot, correlation analysis and scatter plot matrix according to characteristic of variable. Statistical analysis is carried out MINITAP program. The sound reduction performance was evaluated by INSUL simulation and these results of analyzing walls were analyzed by screening DOE(design of experiment) for selecting major factors that dominant influence the sound reduction performance.
