요약2	Since the lowest price acceptance system was first employed in the bid in 1951, such practice has still been favored under the market competition principle, despite of introducing the screening system to determine the eligibility in 1995. Due to the growing concerns on dumping and substandard quality, the study for introducing the best value acceptance rules through the evaluation of the cases in advanced nations have been accelerated. The study was intended to seek the way of applying the best value acceptance system, which depended on scale and character of the work, in the public construction projects. A recommendation to clarify the principle of the best value acceptance systems at home and abroad, evaluate the current status and problems with the current system in Korea, and apply the best value acceptance system depending on scale and character of the work was herewith made.
