Such high-rise and long-span structures are very flexible and are vulnerable to vibrations induced by periodic loads. Since such vibration of structures can cause a problem in terms of serviceability and stability as well as structural problem itself. In this study, we conducted experiments to examine the vibration control performance of Tuned Liquid Damper(TLD)s with internal dampers. Shaking table experiments are performed with a SDOF model on which circular TLDs and bar type dampers are installed. The internal dampers are arranged in various ways. The results are compared with that of normal TLD case.
