요약2	For supporting the design optimization and process management and improvement efficiency and advancement of cost management in the early design process, this paper developed Object-Based Cost cOntrol support System (OBCOS) using Genetic Algorithm (GA) based on Object-Based Schematic Estimation System (OBSES) which can easily support designers to estimate the coat for the building interior-finishing specially in the schematic design and the design development process. The OBCOS provides which rooms should be the target for the cost control through the funtion of comparing the total cost or the cost per ㎡ by room group based on the estimation results of the OBSES. Also the OBCOS can support the speedy and the accurate cost control keeping within the budget form the optimum combinations of the object alternatives considering the user's design intentions and the maintenance of the necessary function of the specified elements.
