The renewal of North port, Busan in Korea was promoted first. That's because of the world wide competition of the ports. In this study, the final draft renewal plan of north port in Busan at this stage was compared with the renewal plan of Hafencity in Germany in order to propose improved renewal plan of North port in Busan. The renewal plan of Hafencity was very similar with North port in Busan in terms of renewal period and direction. From the result of these comparisons, North port need to be considered about a residential area. So, We are planning to the all life the residential area must be Waterfront for people. Also, the facility plan of North port in Busan was suggested to vitalize citizen's participation and embodiment of renewal plan. Prior to making a development plan enough consideration on the preservation of the environment is needed for the environmentally sound and sustainable development. Also, korean tradition and culture should have to be considered in order to create the most korean appearance and image. |
