The Purpose of this study is to analyze residental areas types of Seoul. So, a cluster analysis and GLM(least squares to fit general linear models) analyses were performed by considering residential environment indices housing charateristics indices, demographical indices, social indices, economical indices, geographical indices, physio-environmental indices, etc. Residential areas types in Seoul, were conduced from previous analyses, can be summarized as follows: ① Residential areas in flat land where many housing redevelopment projects are being implemented. ② Residential areas in hilly land where many housing redevelopment projects are being implemented. ③ Latticed residential areas in Southern west flat land. ④ Latticed residential areas in Southern west hilly land. ⑤ Residential areas where filled by many housing complex of row house or of apartment. ⑥ Residential areas where filled by many housing complex of the classes. ⑦ Environmentally sounded Latticed residential areas in Southern east flat land. ⑧ Deteriorated residential areas of old tiny houses, were adjacent to civic centers. ⑨ Partly redevelopment residential areas that is resulted from many housing redevelopment project. |
