Recently, as a method of energy saving and environmental conservation, the demands of high-efficiency lighting using LED(Light Emitting Diode)are being increased actively and applied in various fields. However, LED lamps cause visual discomfort because the color and pattern have been determined ignoring purpose and concern of user. This Study aims to characterize the lighting environment of LED lamps comparing with fluorescent lamps which are widely used. For the sake of this study, a fluorescent lamp and 5 LED lamps were introduced and work-plane illuminance was measured to evaluate lighting environment and uniformity ratio. As a result, the lighting environment using LED lamps provide increasing illuminance level by using similar electric power consumption. Moreover, comparing with a fluorescent lamp, LED lamps provide suitable uniformity ratio between bright part and dark part. Hereafter, the object of research will be conducted to evaluate effects of LED lamps on working performance, survey of visual performance, preference and physiology of subjects. |
