The purpose of the research is to evaluate the application of universal design principles in the national university libraries in Busan. Observation and literature review were used for the study. The results of the study were that, first, the percentage of the universal design application was low because above half percent(average 52.3%) of the universal design checklist is suitable. Second, sample libraries do not have various educational environments for different age and people of every class, which are basic principles for the universal design. The conclusion is that the environments everyone can use should be based on the university libraries.
