This study reviewed the urban regeneration planning of guiding the basis direction of urban regeneration and the accommodation of the smart growth concept in the planning in metropolis. And we were finding the suggestion for the urban regeneration planning of the subway station area related urban spatial structure and the nodes of urban function. For this firstly, we reviewed the urban development theories(Compact city development, Transit-oriented development, etc) derived from smart growth management concept) and arranged the concept and characteristics. Secondly, we analyzed the prearranged land use density of Daejeon urban regeneration planning within the scope of subway station area. Finally, on the basis of the analysis, we suggested the direction of urban regeneration planning considered compact city development theory on subway station area in the metropolis. |
