요약2	The purpose of this study is to research the determinants of total factors productivity and its effects on regional economy in terms of region-states. Total factors productivity calculated through DEA method was more improved under region-states than 15 regions. Especially total factors productivity was mostly affected by technical efficiency change. And there was the positive effect in the relation between total factors productivity and regional economic growth in terms of region-states. It was different in the determinants of total factors productivity by each region-states. The R&D factor was more important in SMGA(Seoul Metropolitan and Gangwon Area). In CWA(Central and Western Area) human capital factor represented by employees graduated from university and graduate school was important. Industrial diversity as agglomeration economy variable was positive effect on region-states except SEA(South Eastern Area).
