The culture of 20th century brought environmental destruction, uniformity and human estrangement necessarily as it's development is advanced. About by it's reaction, the looking for environmental-friendly space and the pursuit of new emotional space with object, the main concept of avant-garde art were noticeably in interior space. Hereupon, in this study, I've considered object of modern art and floral design. And discussed about characteristics of floral design appeared in interior of contemporary eating & drinking space through the prepared framework of research by the comparative analysis about object , floral design and interior design. As a result , the depaysement and assemblage were showed up in objective expressional techniques, while artificial and dried flowers were often used in materials. In function and space design elements, leading movement as a symbolic element and expression of texture as finish material were noticeably. This study would like to suggest floral object, which is one of expression medium to provide environmental intimate space and new sensitivity cultural space. |
