Upcoming social, cultural, and technological change have stimulated to explore future possibilities of our living environment. In this context, future housing projects have been initiated by several leading housing construction companies and the concept 'health' emerged as a new life criteria The purpose of this research is to identify health-related planning features appeared in the current future houses which were implemented as a survival and marketing strategy showing most advanced features. Data were collected through field visit study, using printed materials and observed photographics and additional images web-site information. As a result, a range of health-related features were identified. Findings showed physical, psychological dimensions dominated while kitchen and bathroom were most popular areas showing the features. This results provided a comprehensive views on health features and it opened a way of thinking on healthy planning and stimulated further exploration toward more health living environment. |
