Now, Development in material and technology makes a lot of expression in architectural surface. So many architects try to apply them to buildings. Transparency is important when achitectural surface is designed by architect. Because Transparency controls light and shadow. and Transparency makes no boundary at inside and outside. This means that an angle of visual is more wider. Digital Media came out after 20th. Digital Media is Digital(technology)+New media(communicate each other). Digital Media is one of the development. Digital Media is important in society. Information is a necessary part of the human society. Most of all architectural surface applied Digital Media use light for expression. Because Digital Media started with LED(Light-Emitting Diode). For example electric sign. Many architects try to apply Digital Media to buildings.
