The object of this study is to find an apt organizing method through analyzing the Candilis-Josic-Woods's projects. The mode of connection between the inside and outside and the building layouts were the main concerns in analyzing their projects. The result of this analysis is as follows; each cases are influenced by context of their location and building arrangements are also determined by functions. This result derives the conclusion that the main factor of constructing the building complex in urban area is 'street system'.
