But in Korea, we do not have appropriate statistical data and analyzed one from existing data in the building sector. So, the purpose of this study is to supply the analyzed data about status of housing construction and energy consumption from Housing Survey and Energy Survey and to find the way of using this data as policy supporting feature for energy efficiency in residential building. From the results of analyzed data, aged detached houses should be the main object of energy efficient policy in the existing building field. The most efficient and inefficient heating system type in house were found, efficient one is city gas type and inefficient one is central heating system.
