Also, the interest in the environmental issues are heightened that there is an active researches in reduction of CO2 in every industrial fields. As a part of these researches, there is also significant increase in interests for optimized architecture. In this study, I have made a basic model of steel structure to yield the optimization system by using the lateral force resistances currently used in high rise buildings today. I have identified the minimum weight system while maintaining the iso-lateral position of the structure for each system and I was able to confirm the significant reduction in weight when compared against the basic design.
