Accordingly, the development of self-diagnosis concrete using an electric fuse was conceived for a simply method of damage detection. An electric fuse protects a circuit against over-current, which is the body of electric resistance itself. The damage of elements can be predicted from the resistance of electric wire within the fuse by measuring resistance due to the fracture of the external glass tube caused by cracks in the concrete specimen.
