So that people try to find the various ways of living healthy and active for them. A lot of researches have been done about the development of residential settings for the elderly, for example Long-Term Care Settings, assisted living for the Elderly etc. Among those living facilities for the Elderly, Adult Day Care Center tends to be more preferable options for not only older adults but also their family members due to the provision of short term break without leaving their home permanently. All the more, it provides more efficient place in terms of general cost for elderly care. Even though the number of Adult Day Care Center is increasing in every local community in Korea, the design guidelines to create user friendly living environment are still rare.
