Modern society is an era that demands higher standards of living, greater interests in health according to fast economic growth. This society is being confronted by the necessity to have features of health promotion and managing in social and residential environment with the ‘wellbeing’ trend. In this context, this study aimed to identify and analyze consumers demand for health friendly house planning features. As a result, consumers want the house to have health related characteristics such as ventilation, non-toxic material, view of nature, space that family can gather, protection of their privacy, and so on. Consumers' recognition and demands vary according to their age and scale of the house and the bigger houses are, the higher the demand goes. The company can use these results to develop a house and product strategically and they should be reflected in developing health friendly houses. |
