Residential complexes(Apartment), the most representative contemporary residential building in Korea, has been developed in terms of quantity and quality since 2000. In-complex community facility is getting diverse and tries to meet social needs rather than to use in customized methods. According to the this trend, apart from legal standard which supports the least facility and quality in Residential complex, necessity of designing program which considers resident’s desire and satisfaction is rising. However, there is few research of showing the discrepancy between facilities provided by law and user satisfaction in reality. The purpose of this study is to investigate frequency of usage, necessity of facility in relation to user satisfaction through questionnaire about the awareness and present condition of the community facility in the Residential complex. The result reveals that there is a gap between the supplied facilities by law and the necessity from users. Providing community facility in Residential complex by considering resident's need and background is to help increasing communication between neighbors as well as quality residential environment. Additionally, it can be expected that this research contributes to the designing program for community facility in Residential complex as basic data. By doing so, residents in Residential complex can meet a certain level of quality for residential environment. |
