LED light sources, one of the various kinds of high efficiency lighting system, can be used to replace other standard light sources because of their advantages about light efficiency, long life span, full dim ability, low power consumption. However, It is needed to research for LED light sources with various correlated color temperature and application considering purpose and concern of user. This study aims to analyse the effects of correlated color temperature of LED light sources on preference of work-plane. Subjective preference under five different light sources of LED were conducted and thirty-two undergraduate students in architectural engineering served as the participants. Questionnaire were asked to evaluate the lighting environment for visual fatigueless, relaxation, concentration, reading task and color perception. The results showed work-plane under 5,600K, 3,800K CCT were proper for color perception, reading task and concentration. For relaxation lighting environment, work-plane under low CCT was preferred. |
