As one of representative commercial streets in Busan, Gwangbok Street has been not only busy shopping street but also cultural and historical street. From 2005, this street has been refurbished to have new spatial qualities such as new street shape, furnitures and shop signs. After finishing the refurbishing project, the car traffic has been banned on the weekend so that noteworthy changes in using the street have been found.
