The process of research describes in cost analysis method for VE application to apartment. This method is based on the concept that cost variation of each component is dependent on the size and the shape of floor design. The cost analysis method should be investigated in a planned way to measure the composition of building component which is related with material variation and development of design requirements for an effective VE application. This research process undertakes the first step by cost analysis for each component. The second step of verifying the cost of each component is done by calculating overall cost for the same building component. Next step of measuring the effectiveness of the selection for optimum building component should be taken in comparing the total construction cost of each component for VE proposal.
