요약2 |
Including the regular arrangement of existing temples, Court Concentric Type was a very normal arrangement in the latter Joseon era. The beginning of this arrangement is closely related to the hallways that disappeared from the latter Gorye era. As the hallways on the side and front began to disappear, the rooms that had been in the hallways were moved to the temple dormitories which finally brought about this arrangement. In the result of studying documents and relics, it was determined that this arrangement began to be used in the middle of the Joseon era. However, the formation time differs depending on the size and usage of the temple. Also in some temples, including Yongju temple, the front and side buildings are connected with hallway to create a ‘?’ shape, which emphasizes closeness. |
