Stack effect gives the bad influence to not only the function of the door opening and closing and the elevator’s function, but also the pressurized smoke control system when firing. Therefore, it should be considered enough when the high-rise buildings are planned. This study tried to suggest the improvement method by analyzing the stack effect problems through the measuring on the spot and simulation, targeting C building in Gyunggi province. As a result, the integrated improvement method that all air passages are blocked at the same time was suggested.
