The adolescent period is where the ego is developed, and is the time where they decide their future path. This period requires a healthy development of the mentality, physical, and sociality. Therefore, the present day requires protection and management for them to develop healthy and desirable ethics. The youth center is a facility where the teenagers can practice basic training activities using their spare time. It is a place where one could enjoy and learn various cultural, artistic, and intellectual activities. Expansion of these facilities is needed, for the time spent in school is decreasing more and more. This study practiced analysis on the documentary records, field researches of the Public youth centers in Seoul. It is not being used by the teenagers like the initial plan. Therefore, this study plans on providing basic data on the plans on adolescent facilities and the development of the adolescent community by presenting the space characteristics for the adolescents. |
