A few ten mW white LED can substitute for the indicator light source, and it is required to study several watt multi-chip semiconductor light sources in order to replace the light sources for general illumination such as incandescent lights and fluorescent lamps. The light sources for illumination have a variety of applications in the indoor and outdoor, and the variation of optical power and color rendition of the light source limits their applications.
