C-Mall in Samsung-dong and CC-Mall in Banpo-dong was selected for this purpose. The plan of C- Mall and CC-Mall were analyzed by Space Syntax method while the data about visitors' spatial choice and preference was acquired by questionnaire. The conclusions from this study are as follows: ⑴ People preferred in order of specific shop(signboard)-sign-specific place-ambience-wall-column-floor-ceiling at the time of the spatial choice. ⑵ The result of space syntax showed that people suffer from difficulty of wayfinding performance in C-Mall and CC-Mall.
