As the wedge connector for the beam-column connection has been developed, the analysis of its productivity and economic efficiency is required. Thus, this research analysed its productivity and economic efficiency. This analysis helps to choose the optimal construction method for the beam-column connection. For this study, the ongoing steel and PC construction sites were inspected, and their productivity was analyzed using the webcyclone. This simulation considers the working time and required manpower and equipment for each stage. In addition, the economic efficiency was analyzed using the derived productivity analysis results and construction statements. Comparing to other methods, the wedge connectors resulted in excellent productivity. According to the project scenario, the wedge connector has more economic efficiency than the other methods. |
