The purpose of this study is to evaluate an existing frame of the system that uniformly controls the height of the area surrounding the Jinju-Castle, and find the appropriate height that will harmonize with the surroundings. The results of the analysis are as below: First, the result of 'the evaluation by recognition for city space structure' shows that rather the 'openness' and 'harmony' of the structure than the 'height' or 'size' of it has governing effects on evaluation of scenary. Secondly, the result of 'the visual satisfaction test by the height of structure' shows that, in case of E-Mart site, the overall scenary evaluation was most preferred when the height was 21m and the satisfaction level dropped largely when it was 27m or higher. Lastly, 'the simulation on the form change of structures' is also focused on the same landscape. In the case of main structure, the 'openness' and 'harmony' are the major factors of scenery evaluation, and only the 'openness' showed the differences in satisfaction, therefore, it is needed to consider carefully the shape of the structure. |
