Various construction method were applied to prevent the condensation on the wall and floor of under ground space in apartment buildings. However the surface condensation is not prevented completely, it is caused by high percentage of relative humidity. The result of field measuring, the relative humidity of underground space reached on 99%. In this case, it is necessary to apply the humidity control method for preventing condensation. In this study, we considered using the inorganic finishing material that consists of cement, water and admixture like concrete as humidity control method. To evaluate the humidity control capability of inorganic materials, we performed the field test on underground space in apartment buildings. |
