The purpose of this study is to propose a new index for the application to the agent-based visual analysis model. The existing visual analysis models are not reasonable to reflect human visual characteristics, so in this paper the isovists having orientation, visual field angle, limit visibility distance, and visual access-exposure level() from object distance were proposed. Through comparative and static analysis by several visual analysis models, the results are as follows. First, the new index is more influenced by spatial shape and limit visibility distance than spatial size. Second, it shows significant results in the visual analysis considering orientation. Third, it could represent multi-agent visual features as well. Therefore it seems that the new index would be applicable to the agent's visual dynamic analysis as well as the static spatial-visual analysis. And the agent behavior analysis from this visual index could allow the analyzer to interpret visual complexity and visual dynamics of real world. |
